Saturday in Antigua

It being my last Saturday in Guatemala I tried to capture some of the excitement of Market day. The streets are filled with people bringing things to be sold and carting away food and supplies for the week. One of my favorite markets to watch unfold is one of the many textile markets in front of one of the city´s church ruins. This little girl and her ice cream cone at around 8am was one of my favorite pictures of the day. I am also including a few other pictures from the last few weeks, including one that my friend, Doug, captured with me sitting around a bunch of children from a close by pueblo at the Nuestro Ahijado´s new malnutrition clinic, Casa Jackson. (see any irony?!) Enjoy!
