I woke up Friday morning at 4a.m. to wander the streets of La Antigua and look at the street carpets that were being constructed. I was suprised to find an unbelievable number of people (families with children included) walking the streets, purchasing or vending food outside of the churches, or out in front of their houses working on their families´alfolmbra, or street carpet. I wandered around the city for about three hours, watched another huge processional, and had breakfast before waking friends up to go wander again.
